Frankie just told me you have a web site. I was telling the girls (all single)about you for a while because they are looking for a date for my wedding. Imagine my surprise to hear you have a website! Now they have a picture to "check you out". As John Allan would say "going to a wedding is the making of another" (the old maid in the garrett). See you over the holidays at Frankie's, if not before.

On Sunday there will be kids activities, an Open House for the 10th Anniversary of the Cultural Centre, and a Outdoor Concert. Just wanted to say hello and thanks for the party last Saturday night at your place. It's been awhile since my last kitchen ceilidh and I forgot how much fun they are and how it's all about the music. It's so nice to see 13 - 63 year olds at the same party--don't get that in McMurray. Let me know if you decide to take a journey west (after the cows are feed of course) Hope the cow is recovering from the kick she sustained from you. LOL donna dmmckeough@hotmail.com PS IF YOU WANT SOME PICS FROM THAT NIGHT...

Although the snow season has been giving us a bit of a late run this year...we have decide to release Sandy from his duties to allow for a post plow season party. We know how dedicated Sandy is to his job and family of calves at home, so please join in celebrating the career and family of Blaise Alexander (Sandy) MacDonald at his homestead on Maple Brook in Kingsville for a kitchen ceilidh on Sat. March 24...start time, after the calves are put to bed. Please bring your musical sound machine, something to quench your thirts and some good Spring spirit. See yas there

Sandy- You are a total dear, but I must say I've been getting calls from all parts of Cape Breton. The priest tells me he has a parish of traumatized parishoners shouting about guitar mishaps, snowbanks, and horses gone wild. I can only do so much. The last straw was when I heard you were basically taking over the ECMAs...I had 10 people call and ask me if I could get your autograph for them. One even asked if I knew where you'd be staying. I promise I was mum on the whole issue, pretended I had no idea even who you were.

I was researching my Glendale MacDonald's (Dear God could you be a relative??!!) hmm the only chance would be the truck in the ditch..I could have accomplished that!and I like guitar music. All joking aside,my Grandafather Arcibald John MacDonald9188-1933) who died in trenton, N.S. was said to come from Glendale. His grandparents Donald and Mary started out in Creignish Lot 43) and Archie his grandfather moved to Glendale circa 1801. They were said to have come from Moidart Scotland. Granpa Archi married Floran MacIsaac from Creignish in the early 1900"s. i am trying to track down a wedding record for them All tips welcome and for God's sake keep your pants up!
